Ode to Enchantment
Obsessed by a fairy tale, we spend our lives searching for a magic door and a lost kingdom of peace. - Eugene O’Neill
The shutter clicks, and I follow a child,
For watching these children, as if with wings,
Flies me to places both timeless and wild
Where animals speak of magical things.
With sorcerers and charms, looking for gold,
Hidden portals appear at the right hour
Secret and silent, a sight to behold.
These games and myths will teach them their power.
Fragments of stories collected with light,
In a world enchanted, often surreal.
And what’s essential is hidden from sight,
So trust not reason but what you can feel.
Each piece of this tale is part of a whole,
An epic, a play, a poem for the soul.
